The Defence Spouse Employment Initiative is being created to help connect local employers with defence spouses looking for work.
Wagga Business Chamber now offers a service to its members which will help them source potential employees from the Defence Spouse Community.
The Wagga Business community would like to give Defence members and their spouses a warm welcome!
‘We know that finding work in new posting locations is a major challenge for defence partners and can be a really difficult experience, especially when you are new to town and don’t have an established network of family or friends,’ said Ms Forbes from DHA.
‘DHA is proud to sponsor the Defence Spouse Employment Initiative and play our part in offering practical assistance to Defence families in our community.’
